A post long over due. . .

R u ready for a long one????

It has been over a week since I returned from Illinois visiting my sis! Need less to say, I think I am going to take a break from blogging for awhile. Too busy, not enough time, and the time that I do find here or there, I would rather not be in front of my computer. So, for awhile at least, there will be random posts here or there. I can't even keep caught up on reading them.
Last week was a long one, 2 funerals, a lot of emotions, bad moods, sad people. But we all pulled through. . . because what else could we possibly do?
So here are some pics from our trip. . . lets just say, that traveling in a car for 9 hrs. with a 2 yr. old is NOT what I expected. Bring the dvd player bcuz she WILL NOT sleep the whole way.

Linds boyfriend Nate works at the Fire Station in Charleston, so needless to say, we took a trip there on the last day to see the fire engines and ambulance. You would not believe how heavy this hat is!!!!

Nate has a Harley! So cool! We went riding one day for abt. an hr. I lost my bandana within the first 15 min. but I sucked it up. Next time I will make sure to tie it tighter! We drove to Indiana on Monday so that I could go to the Harley shop. The one in Illinois was closed. Who knew?? Still would have liked to have a shirt that said Effingham instead of Terre Haute. Just think it sounds cooler, ya know?

Nate and Linds have this huge trampoline in their backyard. . .Hunter loved it! We jumped around on it a couple days, but if the sun wasn't out, it was a bit cold. And windy!! Illinois doesn't have all the bluffs like we do around here.

We went out the very first day/night we arrived. Went to a bar that Linds compared to the Harbor around here. But a lot bigger, seemed a lot nicer, and a butt load more people there. They live pretty close to a college. College housing, and parties, NOT missing them anymore! I was dancing on stage and Linds wouldn't come up there with me. Pooper.

Let me start from the beginning now, I worked on Friday night, Linds friend Heidi drove with me there. We left at abt 1 in the morning. Thinking that H would sleep the whole time. Not so. I didn't sleep much on the way there. Abt. an hour. And I had been up since 7:30 Friday morn. We arrived at their house abt. 9:15 or so Sat. morning. Nate was putting on a bean bag tourney for the Fire Station. We got to the bar at noon. First coctail down. Still only one hr of sleep. Nates mom has a daycare, so Hunter spent much of the day there. Drank some coctails, sucked at bean bags, left to go eat around 5:30 ish or so (I think). Ate a nice restaurant. Came back to the house. Showered (Linds said the make-up was starting to set in my wrinkles! :) I was over tired, emotional, and just plain feeling weird after not sleeping for so long, I have never done it that long before. Nate mom called a couple times, Hunter didn't want to stay and go to bed. So we went to pick her up. Heidi was tired and decided to stay home with H and the 3 of us went out. Got to the bar abt. 9:30 sat. night. Closed the joint down. Had a craving for Taco Bell or Johns (???) total brain fart. But anywho, waited in the drivethru for abt. a flippen hour!!!! Can you believe that??? Wow. By the time we got home and finally settled down for bed, I had had 1 hr. of sleep within 43 hrs. Not gonna do it again, for a very very long time!!!

I am combining a few posts into one very large one. We had been back for a couple days, went to the new park at Colvill Park. Sporting her "new" Harley hat and a pink tutu. She was the only girl at the park in a pink tu tu!!!

Nate and Linds were both very gracious with us staying in their home and messing it up a bit, but we had fun! Thank you both for everything. . can't wait to see you in 6 weeks or so!!!!

Last Sat. night I had off. Kurt wanted to stay at home after a long night out Friday. So Kim and dad met me at Bilz to practice darts. At the last minute, we decided to attend a Halloween party at the Elks. Too fun! We were not dressed up. . at first. Kim had a tub in her trunk, so we pulled it out in the parking lot, and started to get dressed. She was a hippie witch, and I was a hippie. Don't ask me who Cousin It was, cuz I can't remember!

I have a buttload of pics to post and some stories to share abt. my past weekend visiting my sis in Illinois! But seriously, my brain is not wanting to take the time to do it right now. So, without further ado, I will make you just wait. . . . until I am good and ready. But just thought I would do a quick post to let you all know that I have not forgotten the fact that I do have a blog, and have sooooo NOT been updating it as much as I should.

That is what today is mostly abt. Officially purchased my Jeep today, it was on lease. Got a free GPS! Oil change: done. Woke up this morning and spilled a whole FULL pitcher of lemonade in my entire fridge. Not the way I wanted to start my day! But whatever, it is cleaned up. I have done 5 loads of laundry. Dishes: almost done. Clean sheets. Raked a butt load of leaves into a pile, and took pics of Hunter! I will post later, maybe tonight. Funny how as I raked, the wind was blowing constantly and at least 20 more leaves fell every 2 or 3 minutes! Never ending. Finally got in the shower abt 1pm.
Just ordered a personalzed Viking Jersey for Kurts b-day coming up. Dudes, is that a good gift?
Sooo need to clean the rest of my house and the Jeep. Bills: paid. Okay, more later.

Yeah. That's all I got to say. I mean, for whatever reason, I truly think that I am the gassiest person alive! And I told Kurt this. And. . . .I think he believes me. He still has not passed gas in front of me, and I burp and fart daily. Is that bad? Gosh though, I totally can't help it. Could yes, be a lot more descret as far as going into another room, never pushing them up through the esophagus. But seriously, would I be being myself if I didn't do what I do?? For those of you who have known me for years, you know what I'm talkin bout.
Anywho, Hunter has a cold, runny stuffy nose, cough in her sleep. She dropped a duece so bad last night, we threw her in the tub. (not literally, threw that is!) Bill down at Mr. Bilz is throwing a party for Biener this weekend. So, I am working day shift, and then gonna sing some songs! Yay! Someone said that her daughter accidently spilled the beans, but we are gonna try to play it off as some dudes b-day party, signs with his name on etc. etc. Lets see what we can do. Seems no one I know can keep a damn secret. Member when my dad accidently e-mailed my "surprise" b-day invite along with everyone else!? Ha Ha! Whatever. We had a blast! I haven't been keeping up on pics too much lately, just a little blabbing here and there. Hopefully next week. Gotta do someones hair today, and then go to work. Bummer. But- so am getting my nails done, a pedicure and a haircut tommorrow. All before work. So, a half day of "pamper me" is better than nothing!!!! If I don't blog again before this weekend, stay warm and healthy!!! Its gettin flippin cold out!

Dart Practice

So, yes, the season is upon us! Didn't wear the right shoes last night, so my shot wasn't always good. Oh, well. I totally do this for fun, not the competition part. But it is still nice to win :) once in awhile anyways! Came home, talked to Kurt on the phone for almost 2 hours! WTF? Who does that anymore?? I don't remember the last time I could think of that much to say! Honestly. Well, I did have a couple coctails in me which could have made up some of the difference. But I am so serious when I say that this guy cracks me up, I am soooo smiling and laughing all the flippen time when I am with him!! I love it! And so hoping that in 30 yrs. we are still doing the same thing! Isn't that what it should be abt.? My wedding song (I hope) will be My Best Friend by Tim McGraw. I love the words, love the song itself and have never dated anyone that quite fit the song. Kurt knows this and asked if he fit it. Time will tell! (But I soooooo have a good feeling!) One day at a time.
Wheres the dang sun today?? I was up at 6am. Dont know why, just couldn't sleep. Hunter has boogers golore, fever last night. Need to clean my house, take a shower. Be functionable. For a minute or so. Going to visit grandma biener. Should be getting a haircut and my oil changed.

Snoring

Anyone have any helpful hints for sleeping with someone who snores??!! Never really been with someone who does this, and I feel bad for poking him every 10 min. (and I'm sure he is getting annoyed!) I was thinking earplugs, but then would I hear Hunter if she got up in the middle of the night? Help, I feel mean, but geesh, I can't fall asleep!

Finally Friday!

And yes, today I can actually say that it IS Friday!!! No work tomorrow!! Wuuu whooo!!! How pumped am I! Rock on. Work tonight, get up at the butt crack of dawn to go to my cousins house and do 4 up-dos for a wedding. Then it is totally hit the road jack. Out of town. All night long baby! Ain't comin back til Sun. Of course I have to work Sun. but whatever. Livin in the moment!! Kinda a boring week. Vikings won. WOW! Missed the end of the game. Oops. I was having more fun anyways, he he :) Hunter is at daycare and her dads all weekend. I better make some big bucks tonight. Sooo dreamin' anywho, got things to do. Hope everyone has a super weekend!!!

So the only way to go after up is down, right? I have been on such a flippin "high" for the past 3 weeks, it finally came down yesterday. Got some news Sunday night. I swear, some people just really can't stand to see others happy when they are so dang miserable themselves. I am speaking of the nut case ex-girlfriend if you hadn't figured it out yet. But damn it, I am determined not to let this chick get to me too bad. After a couple pep talk e-mails from my sis and cousin, last night my mood went up a bit again. Finally brought my camera out this past weekend and got some pics of Kurt and I. Went out with Biener and my dad Sat. night over in WI, to the T-Bar. I honestly cannot remember the last time I danced my ass off! I tell ya, we were home waaaayyy before bar close and I woke up the next morning with a aching back, sore feet, a bruise on my ass, and a horrible headache. All the signs of getting older I assume. I am sooo looking forward to this weekend already.
Kurt and I are going to the MOA, gonna meet someone to chit chat, and then who knows!! Yay is all I can say! I think we might stay in a hotel, and go find some little quiet place to hang out. Just what I need. Hunter will be at her dads.

wella wella wednesday

Worked until 2am this mornin and got up at the butt crack of dawn to bring g-ma to a doc appt. Wow. Tired. Went to breakfast at Perkins.
So, yeah. Ever since I have gotten a dvr, I am so concious of how much t.v. Hunter and I are watching. So, my new thing is. . . . .all t.v. off for 2 to 3 hours a day. I turn on the tunes and H and I do whatever. Clean house, have a dance party, shake maracas, read books, play with toys, dishes, computer, color whatever. Oh and lots of singing!!
Kris and I are talking abt. having a Pleasure Party! Yay! I think a couples one at that! Who's up?? A night of no kids, lots of friends and some coctails!!! Maybe an evening on the town afterwards! Yeah baby! Just something to keep in mind everybody!
And yes, for all those inquiring minds. . . Hunter is finally finally finally getting some hair! Must be a combo of growing faster and NOT being in the sun at the pool every week so it is getting darker. Love it. She wants a pony sooo bad. Pretty soon baby!
On a whole nother note. Rumor (from my supervisors) at work is that within the next 4 months or so, we might be having another rebid on our hours at work. Starting with the most senority, working down. I have finally gotten used to my hours, and for the most part are loving them. Love working 10 hr days and having 3 off every week. But if the option comes up again to go back to working day shift (8am to 6pm) instead of my hours (2pm to 12am) what to do? Most likely I would still have to work weekends either way. Whatever. Not gonna worry abt. it until it comes up. Would you believe that even though I have worked there for over 10 yrs. that I still come up towards the bottom end of the totem pole!

Bowling at T.I.

Last night Kurt, Hunter and I went bowling at the new bowling alley in the casino. It was fun! Nice new shoes. Nice clean place, no smoking. We had a blast! Hunters first time ever going and lets just say she rocked!! I helped her out, and in the second game just bowled for her the last half. She kicked both of our butts!!! You go girl. I brought my camera, but dang it, the battery was at home in the charger. Next time. Kurt is sooooo good with her. I love it! And she really likes him too. I am still smiling.
His nutt job ex is still not leaving him a lone though. It bugs me, and obviously him. She will not quit texting him. Over and over and over. All day, all night. He asked her to please stop and she said she will never stop. WTF?
Anyone know how to block a number on your cell phone? I have heard it can be done, but don't know if you have to contact your cell company or if you can do it through your phone. Somethings gotta give. She obviously wants attention, and will probably noe quit any time soon. Whack job. I don't even know what else to say right now.

As most of you know, Jess and Kris and I get together once a week with our girls for supper. Just enough time to catch up on each others lives, let the girls play, oogle over Nora, and maybe watch a show together. Ellie and Miss Hunter are way into princesses lately. Any one been to Colvill Park lately?? They are building a MASSIVE play area for the kids. It looks to be almost done, but no access yet. How fun for all out little ones! Remember when we were little and we got to play on a single slide, double teeter totter, set of swings, yada yada?

Went out a couple weeks ago to practice darts. The season is soon approaching!! Yay! Our drinks were adorned with little skirts. We are total dorks, but that is okay, we had fun!!!

Ond day mom stopped by to say hi. And when she was leaving. Hunter and the care bear clan all had to wave goodbye. It was cute!

Stopped over at Uncle Roos last week to see how the house is coming along. I am proud of him. This house is gonna be a great little pad for him. Mom was cleaning the kitchen, and of course, Miss H joined in. What a little cleaner. I will remind her of these photos when she is 16 and not wanting to keep her room clean!!!

This year for Halloween Miss H is gonna be a dragon! Woa, a little boyish, but whatever. The costume is warm and she seems to like it. I will be working that night, but daddy will be taking her out!

Last and not least. I took a couple long go go gadget arm shots today at the park. I love you little girl!!!


And that brings me to now. Kurt and Hunter and I are gonna go check out the new bowling alley at the casino and throw a couple balls. Come home, watch some t.v. Hope that my phone doesn't ring and that nobody is roaming around my damn house outside!!!!!! ttfn

WTF????

I am in a very weird place right now. Had yesterday off from work, went out with Kurt and had a flippin blast!! Went out early, came home early. Woke up VERY early! Looked outside at Kurts car, not really sure why, but thought that it might have a smashed windshield. His car was parked at my house all night. Walked outside to look at it. Not smashed. Someone dumped an ashtray on it. And then Kurt came out, to look. 2 of his tires slashed. I have never been a big fan of the work psycho, but HELLO! His ex is a effin crazy lady who needs to leave us the F alone. The cops were called. A report was done. No way to prove that it was her, but we know. The cops went to look at her house in her vehicle to see if they could find the tool used. My house was also getting prank phone calls earlier this week. I just do not even know what to think. She is 34 yrs. old and needs to grow up. If this stuff keeps happening they are thinking abt. filing stalking charges and suggest to get a restraining order. This shit is crazy. I have never had to deal with anything like this. WTF? That is all I am thinking right now.

Okay so for some of you who know me, and some who don't. The name of the guy I have been hanging out with is Kurt. He was over and we were playing with Hunter. I quickly got booted to the chair from the couch. I must of CLEARLY not been as much fun!!! But regaurdless, I was pleased that she is comfortable around him. Before I got the big boot though. We were drawing on her etcha sketch. She said she had drawn a cheerio. Kurt and I looked, and no shit, it looked like a little sperm. Circle with a wiggly tail!!! We were laughing so hard. I should have taken a picture. Maybe you just had to be there. But it was flippin hilarious!!!

On another note. My t.v. has been shutting of randomly for the past 2 days, and I'm not sure what the problem is!! Kinda weird. Kinda freakin me out. Movin on.

Halloween is fast approaching. I am a bit sad that I will be working and not able to take Hunter out this year. My mom volunteered and she has a safe neighborhood. So we will see what Trapper wants to do. She is gonna be a dragon. A bit on the boyish side if you will, but this costume is adorable!!! We tried it on last night. Too cute. I, on the other hand, have that Sat. evening off and will be going out. I just ordered an outfit yesterday online. It is an indian princess/pocohontas deal. Super cute, hopefully fits. We will see! But I am excited!

Good Morning!!!!

So. Yeah. I had an awesome weekend! Although I worked too. Everyone at work keeps talking abt. this "glow" that is covering my face! Just a giddy little school girl. I love it! My house is a mess, clothes need to be washed. Dishes need to be done. I didn't do anything productive over the weekend. But I am totally okay with that! Ha!
I get to have 7 Sat. off in the next 2 1/2 months! I am so pumped! Maybe not that big of a deal to most of you. But I have been working weekends for over 10 yrs. so this will be nice and I am gonna take full advantage of them for sure!

Mmmwaaaaa!

Call it love, or call it lust. . . I'm not sure at this moment. But what I do know is, that my heart is smiling! :) And I am literally grinning from ear to ear! I was just talking to a co-worker last week abt. how my mission of looking for a mate has ended. And I didn't mean that I would never date again! Just that sometimes when you just quite "trying" so hard, whatever it is that you are looking for just may come and tap you on the shoulder! And that is pretty much what has happened. I won't go into too many details now, but just know that I am in a really good place!! (Not that I wasn't before, because life with just Hunter and I would be wonderful, but this mammas got a lot more love to give!) So, I will keep everyone posted as this venture begins.
P.S. I have known him for 15 yrs. That is all you get for now!

A bit of this, a bit of that

I got out Hunter's potty chair again, after a brief period of hibernation, and her CareBears are constantly going!!! So, yes she understands the whole concept, but I am not pushing the matter right now. I plan on trying whole heartedly sometime after Christmas. Trapper said she dropped a duece in her potty at his house last night! First time going ever. She has this thing with pull-ups. Likes the thought of them, loves to say the word and wants to wear them. So he said that she could if she went in the potty. Put the potty in her room, shut the door and let her do her business. Asked if she was going, and she replyed yes. She yelled when she was done. And that was that. She was rewarded with a treat as well.


On another note. A couple weeks ago, we were shopping at Wal-mart. Saw a bunch of things in the 50% off isle. And found this great buy for only $35! I usually am not a thrift shopper in any way, so this made me proud!!

But reagaurdless, I had a fun time. Was home before midnight. And from the stories that I heard this past week when I returned to work, I was definitely NOT alone in my "good" times!!! Many of us were in the same boat the next day.
Damn Vikings. Had to lose again yesterday. But. . . as we say. . .there is always next week!

Today is a bit more on the productive side. Got the grocery shopping done and am finishing up on laundry. I will get the house cleaning done by tomorrow when I go to work. Started going through Hunters clothes. Putting the out of season/too small ones into bins. Some to keep, some for a garage sale, and some to donate. She has a butt load of 3T's that I just dug out of the closet!! She will be set for some time!
On another note. I am getting a dvr next week! Not that I really need this thing. But come on guys, Grey's is starting soon, and since I am working nights, I just CAN'T miss it!! I also bought season 4 today that came out on dvd yesterday! Yay!
Hunter and the cat are currently sleeping. Yes. Me time.
Yesterday, well it didn't all suck. Hungover yes. But on the other hand, Hunter and I hung out all day. Didn't leave the house. Just bummed, and played, watched movies, snacked, snuggled and laughed. Lots of hugs and kisses. Totally not productive, nothing got accomplished. But. . thats okay!
Going to Kris tonight, gonna hang with the girls.
I have so many pics to post too, to help see what we have been up too, but oh yeah, camera got left at the bar Monday night. Need to retrieve it from a friend later. So, as soon as I get that. I will post some pics!
Went to the doctor on Monday. . . because of this persistant cough and phlegm thing that has been going on since March. Tested negative for asma. Next step. See a pulmonologist. Appt. made for next month.

WTF is wrong with me? Totally hoping that it is nothing too serious. Arggggg.

Sorry, not too much time to post right now, but yes, I am still here! Super excited abt. the game tonight! Hunter had her first day of "school" today, and it went soo well. I think I am gonna like this class. The first half, the parents play with the kids, and the second half, the moms (or dads) go into another room to talk and what not! How cool!
Hunter is going to her dad's house tonight, which means, party time for me! There is a butt load of people I work with going to the Bluffs over in Wisconie to watch the game on a huge projection screen ! Yeah. Post more later!!

Labor Day

We woke up early this morning and went to Memorial Bluff to take a few pics over looking Red Wing. For my moms b-day (already over with so the gift will be late), a quilt is being made, with pictures of us kids over the years. More recent then early but nonetheless, I can't wait to see it! So hopefully one of these recent shots will make it.
