No more eHarmony

Okay, Okay, so with all this time that I have thinking lately, here is the realization that I have come to. I've signed up for the online thing (only for a month mind you), I don't think it is a bad thing, but it just seems to be a bit "out of my comfort zone". Make sense? And sure, people hook up and get married and all from this sort of thing, but yeah, not feeling it. So, thats all folks.

A Busy Week Ahead. . .

Well, not much time to rest this week! Today we chilled, ran some errands. Tomorrow I need to get all the food for Hunter's birthday party this weekend! Yay! I can't believe that she will turn 2 on Wed.!!!! Linds comes home on Wednesday, and I have to work that night until 10. One of my cousins and her baby boy are going to be spending the night Wed. Get together with the girls for supper Tuesday night. Thurs. I will need to get some cooking done for this weekend, work Thurs. night. Nate flys in Thurs. as well. Friday I will be getting up early to bring Hunter to daycare, then at 9am we have family pictures (Shawn, Linds and I). It is going to be a Christmas present to our parents! Hope they turn out good! More cooking for the party, get my nails done, pick up the Strawberry Shortcake cake, go to work. The party starts at 11am on Sat. at my dads so I need to pick up grandma Hayes and head out early to decorate and set up everything before hand. The Tim McGraw concert is later Sat. night, and then we will be bar hopping afterwards. Work on Sunday ahhh. And hopefully sleep all day next Monday! Or something! Linds and Nate are going to be helping my brother paint all the rooms in his house during their stay here as well, so I am sure I will be over there in spare time as well!
And I should really find some time to take the Jeep in to get a switch looked at. The dial that runs the fan to turn the a.c. or heat up higher only works on full blast and the other lower settings don't do anything! The same thing happened to my Cavalier, so maybe it is just me??? Whatever, I just hope it isn't too expensive! More later!

Did I tell you how much I love my porch these days?? Its just so dang cute. The windows are up, nice breeze, cute new lights at night and comfy furniture! I love fall, and plan on spending lots of time reading here!!

A fat cat with an elmo blanket. Damn cat. Too cute, so snuggly and just won't quit pissing on my shit! I am getting ticked. Gonna try a couple more things and I will be sad to say good bye, but will do it if I have too. Maybe I should have kept the other cat?!

More princess shoes! Good thing they are big! Her feet are growing like a weed!

Okay, Okay. . .so heres the date info. I met Jeremy at Nybo's today around 3:30. Totally looked not like his pic, but he warned me that he no longer could sport a goatee. I was super nervous. Ya know, first time doing this and all. He won all three games:( But I got over 100 every time and got quite a few strikes to keep him on his toes. After bowling we went to Baypoint to sit by the river and talk. It's weird, crazy, something, but he totally reminds me of me! And my dad. In many ways! I had a good time, just don't know what to think of everything! A bit overwhelming. Perfect on paper. He left it in my hands, if I want to see him again that he would like to as well. I think I will call him again. Hard to get to know someone in only 2 1/2 hr, huh? Oh Teach, got his last name. Its Marcks. With or without the "c", can't remember. He's told me some stories from the past, so if you know him, I can only imagine. Let me know if you find anything out! (I will keep in mind that people do change and grow up over the years)

I just LOVE it when Jess and Kris and I get together with the girls!!! Hunter got these new "high heel" shoes the other day. (I saw them and couldn't resist, it was something that I as a child ALWAYS loved and wanted!) So, yes, she now will become a shoe addict like me. Big deal. Ellie loves to come over and try on her shoes too! Nora didn't get to partake in the shoe and dressup day yet, but she will soon enough!

I just love them all! I hope you 3 grow up to be as good of friends as your moms and I! And we all plan to add to the bunch! Someday.

So, yes, I didn't blog all weekend. What does that tell ya? Nothing exciting enough in my world to write abt. I worked all weekend and Hunter went to grandmas. She had a fabulous time. Got the lawn mowed and went to a couple garage sales. Oh, I did get this antique dresser for upstairs! And last week Genee(Trappers mom) brought over a antique desk that used to be in her mother's house.
I do have one other small bit of info. A few weeks ago, a commercial came on for eharmony. It mentioned that you could log in and see your matches for free. So. . .after a bit of thinking. . . I did. Downloaded a couple pics and answered a buttload of questions. Within the next 4 or 5 days, I kept getting these emails saying that so and so from somewhere was requesting communication with me. Everytime I would log in to check out the profile,, but damn it, they would show me any pictures! So after a few more days, my curiousity got the best of me. I am now a member of eharmony. For only a month, if I can figure out how to cancel the automatic renewal! But anywho, I have started to communicate with a few out there, closed some matches right away, closed some after I didn't like the answers to my questions, but all of which has led me to now. I exchanged phone numbers with someone!! We have only played phone tag so far, emailed some and answered a few questions. This is the info I have so far. His name is Jeremy, lives in Hudson, but originally from Pepin. Age 32, doesn't have kids, but wants them! Works at Koch refinery. Thats a good job, my dad works there as well. He's got a Harley! Wuu whooo!! And he has been single for over 2 yrs. Basically like me, I don't think Randy really counts huh? So guys, that is what I got for now. Later.

I can't resist, another Hunter blurp

Earlier today Hunter was watching one of her Strawberry Shortcake movies, and music came on and they all started singing. I was facing her and noticed that one of her feet started moving to the music. It was cute. She looked at her foot. . .looked at me. . . and said, "My foot is dancing!" It was sooooooo cute, and everyday she makes my heart smile. Tons.

Time to go to bed. We picked up the toys, and she still protested tonight. I have been sitting on the couch catching up on some blog reading, and swear I heard some footsteps in the other room. She has been in there for 15 min. or so. I waited a couple minute before opening the door to peek in. That little turd, got off her bed, ran to the other side of the room to her table, and grabbed this pumpkin filled to the brim with toys, and brought it back into her bed. Started playing. What a little whippersnapper!! She is now talking with Ariel, flounder, rabbit and Secret Bear. I hope they tire each other out soon!!! TTFN!

Like Mother, Like Daughter

Hunter was just playing with her Little People horse and carriage. . . looks up at me and asks: "Where did Ariel go?"
I simply looked at her and said: "She is in your arms honey!"
And then I laughed, she said she was funny.

Another quick H story for ya:
She was eating mac and cheese for lunch. Had her cool Dora cup next to her and abt. 6 or 7 mac n cheeses next to the cup. I asked her to please eat those.
She looks at me and says: " Oh, you found those?!" Like she was hiding them from me or something?? She seemed proud that I found them. Ha Ha.

Ever gone looking for your sunglasses only to notice eventually that they are on your head??
I honestly have to write myself notes ALL the time to remember what I need to get done, who I need to call and what to get at the store.
I have been known once before to be looking for my car keys and they were in my hand the whole time. Crazy.

Oh and p.s. I found this really great veggie dip at Wal-mart. Great Value creamy dill. Yumm Yumm. Just thought I would share :)

Oh yes, another pool day.

It was a BEAUTIFUL day!!! Good god I am not looking forward to winter any time soon that is FOR SURE! We ran into many people today, even Ohprincess 1 and 2!
No nap today, the girl just had energy spewing from everywhere. But I put her down aqt 8:30, and am looking forward to an uneventful evening watching t.v.

Hunter's Friends

In the spring/early summer, Hunter and I went to the Build A Bear factory at the MOA. She made herself a new best friend, with 2 hearts!

After a month or so, Meow Meow quickly lost her appeal. We found an oldie but goodie, and for awhile, he kept her content.

A few weeks ago, Hunter and I had a come-a-long. She came along with me to a couple garage sales. She usually is at daycare during this time, however they were on vacation this particular Friday. So, as we were looking around. She spotted it. A box full of long lost stuffed animals that the previous owners did NOT want anymore. So for 50cents, we welcomed a new addition to the household.
Meet Secret Bear.

And she talks. This, we did not know at the time of purchase. But she has quickly became a pal of Hunters and the "old" animals have been piling up. Secret Bear gets put into "time outs" as well(this is hilarious) and is fed on an almost daily basis. She asks for hugs constantly. Gets lots of snuggle time at night. And was also left at the local dollar store last week. I had already driven a few blocks away, before realizing that I needed to turn around. She was lying on her side next to the stickers in the balloon section. But nonetheless, she was saved. A few days ago, I was pleased to see that George met Secret Bear for the first time.

And today, Meow Meow even came out for a small visit.

How many people does is take to put a baby in a carseat?? 4!!

Jess, Kris and I took the girls to the park and had supper this evening. It was nice to all be together!! The food was great, the girls had fun playing and the weather was beautiful, not too humid with a nice breeze by the river! We tried getting some shot of the girls, their first pics all together! I just cap snapping and this one was my all time favorite!!!!!

Then we came back to my house for a quick haircut, and just enough time to watch a fat cat in a small box. That should be some Dr. Suess book huh?

The girls ended the evening with a bath. Bubbles and all.

Looking forward to tom. as well. We are headed to the Goodhue County Fair later in the day! It was fun last year, and I'm sure Hunter will enjoy it a lot more this year!!!

For those of you who haven't heard yet, Big daddy bought a limo quite some time ago. He needs his toys, and he just loves being involved in this or that, whatever means "fun"! So, this is how Kim and I were picked up on Sat. evening and brought down to River City Daze. I danced a lot, lost my FAVORITE pair of sun glasses, drank too many beers and had a bad bad headache the next day. But we had fun!
I will have to add though, it isn't the same as it used to be.
Alot better, when we were alot younger!

Mirror Mirror

On Friday, I broke a mirror on my bathroom floor. The second one in 6 months. Do you really think that I am gonna have 7 yrs. of bad luck??
