Edit

Say, I just read the paper and my mistake (couldn't see inside the van) but relating to the previous post a woman was in the van (not a man) involved in the accident yesterday.

The first time. . . so far

Well, every Friday the babes goes to daycare, which she LOVES! Always talking abt. Jenni (daycare lady) and all the other kids that she sees there. But today, she woke up up saying that she wanted to stay with momma. She even shed a few tears when we got there with the thought of me leaving. . until. . she got offered breakfast!! Yes, ladies and gentlemen, this little lady can be persuaded to do just abt. anything for some food. Scary if you think abt. it. (I mean with strangers of course). So, I went on my merry way and should I say *scored* at a couple garage sales today. Hunter has enought clothes to last her for the next 2 yrs. plus! Crazy, I know, but lets just hope that someday I will have another little girl to dress.
Speaking of babies. I think I have the baby blues. Not the kind you get after delivering a baby, but the I really want to have another baby, like right now. If I was pregnant again, I would be totally content. Ya know how I have been feeling nautious taking the Chantix?? People at work keep asking me if I am preggers when I mention that I am not feeling well. And I say "I WISH!" May sound a bit wild to some people considering that I am not married, not do I even have a prospect that I am dating, but that is just how I feel. So, I will be patient, and continue to wait until the "right" person comes along. For now.
Today was also the first day I actually had to get off my chair and run to the toilet cuz I really thought I was gonna throw up after taking my pill. But I didn't. Wheew! At a little and we are all up hill from here. One and 1/2 smokes in 6 days. That is where I am at right now.
Oh gosh, I almost forgot. On my way to work yesterday around 3:30, I witnessed a horrible accident on hwy 61. It was crazy and the kind of thing you only see in movies. A semi and 2 trucks were involved. 3 men, and I hope they are all alright. I saw 2 men get out of their trucks, but this van. . I saw it flip in the air at least twice while taking out a really tall light pole (I think). It all really happened so fast, I was shaking and also glad to see that the lady in front of me was already on the phone taling to someone, and I can only believe that it was the police. Wow, driving can be so dangerous. And they say statistically that flying in an airplane is far safer! I am scared to death of planes, but drive around with my daughter all the time! Go figure. Anyways, with a closing note, I hope and pray that everyone involved in yesterdays accident is doing well. Please do the same. It was really scary to watch.

My house . . . on a daily basis

Oh yes, this next pic is of how my living room has looked since yesterday. Poor green frog, face down is if totally dropped out of the blue for some very other important toy. Doll stroller in a dead stop WITHOUT a baby in it, so who knows where she got left in this house!! The lovely talking vacuum cleaner lying on his back, clearly not having had enough room around all these objects to do his job. The numerous Little People zoo animals out of their cages running rampid must have just pooped out and taken a nap in the middle of the floor. The kitty from Shrek calmly lying on his side. Shrek movie on the table. Oh, and lets not forget the Halloween pumpkin in the far back porch that has still not made its way to the basement closet for next season! Oops.

After we finished the zoo yesterday, we made a pit stop in Apple Valley to do a little shopping. Funny how my mom was the one who wanted to go and she didn't buy a SINGLE thing. I did though. I got this cute frame. I think I really enjoy what it says mostly. Pretty cool. Don't have a picture yet for it though.

Last but not least. . . .here is my little munchkin eating some spaghetti! And yes, we jumped in the tub right after!!!

Oh, just a quick note as well. As far as the smoking thing is going.
Update: I smoked over a pack Sat. night at my dads for the reunion. But in the last 4 days have only had a half of a ciggarette.
There is something abt. coctails and ciggarettes that seem to go hand in hand. I just enjoy smoking then. What if I only smoked when I drank?? Does that still mean that I am a "smoker"? Who knows, time will tell. I am still on the Chantix, and still feel like crap when I take it, but will continue.

The Zoo

Yesterday we went to Como Zoo with my mom. Just a girls day. And it was abt. 53 degree and windy. Bummer. Jeans and sweatshirts covered our chilly bodies, but none the less, we got to see the animals. . . sleep. It much have been nap time for almost all of them. And to boot, Hunter was not in the picture taking mode. So only a few shots.

Mom and Hunter playing in the water.

Some pretty flowers!

Hunter and I on the giraffe.

So any of you remember this machine from when we were kids?? That made plastic gorillas??? My mom bought Hunter one, and she is scared of it. As she was most of the animals behind the glass all day!

As much as we didn't seem to do all day. . . I was pooped out. Fell asleep on the couch around 7 while Hunter picked out a movie. Shrek. She must have been feeling some vibes from little Miss Ellie. So yes, we have watched Shrek a couple more times since as well. As well as Lion King, Snow White and the Care Bears. And we can't forget Miss Strawberry Shortcake. I'm so sick of movies.

Memorial Day Baby Shower

Today Hunter, Jess and I went to our friend Megans home in Blaine. There was a baby shower for our friend Amy. She doesn't live in MN and our times to see each other are far and between. But it is always a pleasure to see each other when we can! Hunter was the only child (born that is. . .2 more in bellies) so she was pretty much the sideshow entertainment for everyone. Kids just say and do the darndest things! She was very well behaved and didn't cause too much ruckus, so I was pleased with that. She is now in bed and pooped out from the day. Here are a couple pics from today.

Congrats Amy and Ben! This new little one will be a whole new joy to your lives!!!

As I was starting my computer tonight, I heard a noise from the kitchen. Miss Hunter was already in bed, and the cats were on the prowl. I waited a few minutes before getting up to see what was goin on. Walk into the kitchen. . . and what do I find. . . .but a fat cat(Elvis) eating gum. What the?????? Cat. . . gum. . . cat. . . gum????? Seriously. This was not the first time I have found my Elvis "chewing" gum. Weird.

Anywho, ready for tommarrow. Como Zoo here we come!!!!

Ahoy Mate

So another year, and another family reunion. We had a good turn out, and the weather held up for most of the weekend. Lots of food, ladder golf, bean bags, drinking, singing, dancing, guitar hero, some more drinking, volleyball, a treasure hunt, and of course you could "walk the plank" aka. . .dad had to rent a dunk tank. Here are some pics from the weekend! I hope you all had a good weekend as well!

Me and Kellie (future step sister)

Doesn't Hunter look cute!!!

Grandma Bien and Miss Hunter

Jodi (future step brother) had to take a nap

Hunter found the treasure chest filled with jewels!

And of course, the dunk tank!

We played lots of euchre and watched a slide show of photos over the past 10plus years! My how the styles of hair and clothes have changed over the years! And the little ones have grown up! As often as we find ourselves wishing the work week by faster to get to the weekend, time really does go by so fast regaurdless. In the third pic, you will notice a parrot. This would be Kims bird that talks when movement goes by. I had gone to bed on the pullout couch in the garage around midnight or so. . . and I believe around 4 in morn or so, I awoke to my feet killing me (I was still in full pirate attire, boots and all) and this bird talking "Hello" "Watcha doin?" and much more. It was pitch dark and noone was up anymore!!!! I couldn't find the off button, so I put it in the house on the stove. There were abt. 5-7 people in the living room sleeping that awoke to this bird talking to NO ONE!!! Oops. Over all, we had a blast. Few went in the dunk tank cuz the water was so cold. But needless to say, I think we had another great year!

Just another day

Okay, so this was my third day taking Chantix. The first 2 days I felt weird, sort of mellow for abt. the first 8 hrs. or so. Today was normal. Tommarrow I start taking 2 pills a day. I have not yet picked a "quit date" yet and am still smoking, however not a whole lot. I don't know if I am still smoking cuz I want to or because of boredom. I will figure it out. Today, Hunter and I went to visit our friend Kelly who had her 3 baby a couple weeks ago. I almost felt like I forgot to hold someone so tiny. But he is adorable. Hunter didn't seem to pleased at first but warmed up as time went on. Watched "The Bachelorette" last night. I LOVE that show! This weekend is the annual "Bilderback" family reunion. (Kims side) As I had mentioned before, the theme is Pirates. So, Hunter and I have outfits picked out and it should be fun. I will definetly post pics. It is a 2 day event, but I will only be attending sat. and working on Sun. Monday is Amys baby shower, and Tues. my mom and I are taking Hunter to the zoo. Busy, busy, busy.
A month or so, I was watching Oprah. She had a show abt. people giving up technology for a week to see how their families fared without t.v., cellphones, computers, and video games. And doing or spending anything unecessary. I have seriously considered trying this for a week! Anyone else?? Remember what we used to do without all these "things"????? Imagine how much more time you could spend with your children learning and playing by turnng of the tube and computer fcr a week?? Lots of playing outside, reading books, going to parks etc. If I do this, I will post when I will start so should expect no entries for a week. Anywho, just a thought. ta ta

Today is the day.

Yep that is right. I just took my "Chantix" pill. (the quit smoking drug) I decided yesterday, that today is the day. I'm a bit nautious right now, but had some cereal and am hoping this passes. I really don't even know if I am ready to do this. But, I need to for myself and for Hunter. I really do want to be around a lot longer for my baby. I can smoke for the first week or so while taking this and it should start to taste bad, and really just not want to smoke. So, please. . .wish me luck, keep your fingers crossed and pray for me. I really hope I can do this. The doc. asked me the other day, "How many years have you been smoking??" Um. . . 13. Holy crap! It is time.

Ellies birthday Party!!!!!

Well as you can tell by these pics. The girls had fun. Balloons are always a hit, and I will remember that for my dear Hunters birthday in 3 1/2 months. Doesn't she look just so dang happy?

Friends!

The girls look like they are on their way to Hollywood! Ellie was so nice to share her visor!

Yummmmmmm. . .DQ frozen birthday cake.

It cooled off quickly tonight, and the day was gorgeous!!! The food was good and so was the company. I love watching these two little ladies play. They are a hoot. Jess and Pete's little girl will soon join in on all the fun! Wuuuu Whooooo! So, after a busy day, we are at home. I made tuna salad. Weird craving. Haven't made it in at least 5 yrs. But, whatever, its in the fridge. Back to work tommarrow. Bummer, why do our days off go by so quickly! Okay, gonna get this little one to bed. Night.

Flowers and Purses.

So, a green thumb I am not. But on a venture to Walmart today, we went into the greenhouse. I had bought these cute blue hanging pots at a local coffee shop in R.w.
And of course I had to fill them. However, I have never had any luck keeping plants alive! My goodness, all the fake ones in my house look like crap because my cats just can't get enough!!!! So, here is a pic of the first day they were put in. I will update through out the summer as they either bloom or die!

Yesterday a gal that I worked with stopped over to say hi, show me some pic. of her son, and also bring a Coach purse for me to look at that she bought quite some time ago and has NEVER used. Yes, I said real Coach. I think the other 3 I have are knock offs, well at least 2 of them are for sure. So, back to the good part. We were discussing purses at work the other day, and of course I heard the word "purse" and had to ask. She was trying to sell it at her beauty salon for 300. She paid 400. At work she said she would sell it to me for 200. But when she arrived at my house, she said I could have it for 100 bucks. Sold baby!!!!! Thats all I had to say, and I would have paid 200 for it. But what a deal. Best one of the week I'd say. Its black and white, abt. 90 percent of my closet is as well!

We had the talk. . . .

So, yes, Randy and I had the talk last night. I explained things the best I could, trying not to be harsh and hurt his feelings. He was upset, and left. But called to finish the conversation a few minutes later. So, now he knows, and I think I feel better. Hopefully no more panic attacks this week. Yes, I have panic disorder and was diagnosed yrs ago after my miscarriage. Apparently it is hereditary and also brought on my stress. My grandmother and my cousin have similiar issues. Its has been so long since I have had an attack, that 3 in the last week seemed like too much. So I am hoping with this "thing" off my chest, we can move on.
Went to the doc. today. Had a chest x-ray. Lungs are clear. Hmmmmmm. He said it is probably just phlegm hanging around in my bronchial tubes and/or drainage from my nose. Whatever. So, he hooked my up with some Chantix. Have you heard abt. this drug?? I have talked to many people at work who are or have taken it and most all have said good things. Its a quit smoking drug for those who don't know. I have not filled the prescription, but plan on it tom. Just not sure when I want to start.

Random question: Does your mother say "Happy Mother's Day" to you??
Mine never has. Not sure if this should bother me or not??? But, I think it kinda does. Otherwise I wouldn't been writing abt. it huh?

Excited for Miss Ellies b-day party tommarrow!!!!! Yeah, good food and good company and a 2 yr. little girl to celebrate. I will take pictures!!

Cough, Cough

I have had this lingering cough going on for abt. 2 months now. SOOOOOOOOO sick of it. Yes, I made a doc. appt. Little miss Hunter is taking her nap and we will be taking off within the hour. Now, I am a smoker, and no, I am not looking for sympathy. That is my choice. Although I do not smoke as much as the "average" smoker, and I am so NOT trying to justify this whole bad habit. But seriously, 2 months of coughing is getting to be a bit much. The past few day my upper back started to bother me, and of course I am getting all paranoid thinking it is my lungs and that maybe I have pnemonia. So, lets just get all this worrying out of the way and suckk it up and go to see the local doc. Maybe its nothing. But I would rather be safe than sorry.
Randon thought. I was taking my shower today and noticed that I have A LOT of things in my shower. Bottles, scrubs, etc. 19. Yep, thats right 19 bottles of this and that. For 2 people. 5 of those are for Hunter. How many things do you have in your shower?? Think I'm going to quit adding new ones for awhile and use up what I got.
Dr. Phil is on now. I love Dr. Phil. His whole say it like it is, not feeling sorry for you, suck it up and deal philosophy. He does give a lot of help to people as well.
Question for you all. I have noticed in some blogs that I read, you guys put periods in the center of names of places, or brand names, stores etc. What is the point of this and am I SUPPOSED to be doing it?????????????? Walmart vs. Wal.mart for example???????????????

Totally Random Post.

These first couple pics are of Hunters "big girl" room! No more crib and changing table. The big leave behind the dresser will get hung on the wall and I have one more of those too. In the second photo, those 2 pink balls hanging from the ceiling. . . .I was walking by a flower shop in the Cayman Islands and thought they would be perfect. They are light pink with little flowers on them. Photo is to far away to see. The rug under the table and chair is new, and she has slept sooo tremendously well in her big twin bed. When she wakes in the morning, she still stays in there until I come to get her. Crazy that I don't wake up to a messy house in the mornin' with little pitter patters.

The Big "R"

Okay, so a few of you know abt. the guy I was seeing earlier this year. We have been "off" for awhile now, but remained friends and still talking now and then. I recieved these flowers from him last wed.
So, I have been struggling with this for some time now, and its starting to stress me out. So, I just need to come clean and tell him how I feel, or don't feel. . . He is a very nice man, attractive, would give me anything I want, says he loves me and wants to marry me. . . . . ummmmmm. . . . I'm flatttered. However, my feelings are not the same and I feel as though something is missing. A spark, a connection. That intoxicating "i can't live without you, stand to be away from you" feeling. So, he must have a inkling, and he knows I need to talk to him. Just haven't done it yet. But I will.
Oh, and it has been soooooooooooooooooooo very long since I recieved flowers, and the gesture was very nice. They are beautiful and sitting next to my bed.

So, as I mentioned before, my sis was home last week. She left early this morning. On saturday, we went to Walmart for The Humane Society adoptathon or something like that. Linds got a new baby kitten named Minnie. Not as in the mouse, but short for the MN Vikings. Her other cat is named Goldie, after the Gophers. So, as Hunter and I were playing dress up, notice the lovely flower hat and pink tutu!!!! She wanted to go upstairs and see the baby kitty. She seemed pretty gentle most of the time, however she just never pays attention to where she is walking. But the cat it still alive. Thank god.

This next pic is just one of Linds and I from last Tues. night. We went out for a few hours. It was pretty obvious that my drinking days have been much less these days, cuz this particular night. . .lets just say. . .I was a comical, dancing, flirting, wild woman. Nate (linds boyfriend) got a kick out of me and we hit it off well. Just remember, I'm here for you.

Thats all for now.

Happy Mother's Day

To all of us!!!! Yeah. Wish I didn't have to work and could enjoy the day with Hunter. I hope you all enjoy yours! Just an update. Yes, I mowed the lawn. Even a gal at work must have been driving by and saw me. I told her that she witnessed history. Ha. Anywho, it went okay. Not perfect. But I really didn't mind. Now I thank those of you offering me to practice on your yards as well, however. . . .my "little" plot of land is perfect for me at this time!!!! I think my next venture will be "weed wipping". One thing at a time though! More tommarrow.

I have never mowed my own lawn.

Would you believe that!!!!!!! In a couple weeks, it will have been 2 yrs. since I bought my house. And I seriously have ever mowed my own lawn. . . . until tom. that is. Or I am gonna attempt it. My stepdad, Tim, has always taken care of my lawn for me. It is a very small lawn, and when I first moved in, I was 7 months pregnant, and then last summer, Hunter was so little and could not be left unattended. So, not that she can be left alone now, but usually on fridays, she goes to daycare. And that leaves me with some time. So maybe Ishould start to do my own lawn huh??? Tim is gonna shit when he drives by and sees that it is already done!!!!!
Anywho, got forced out of work early tonight. Not a big deal, it was slow. Since Linds is in town, I went to the movies with her and Nate (her man). We saw Made of Honor. It was good. Predictable, but good. Nate is gonna help me start the mower, it has always been sittin in the garage, and I have only looked at it from a distance. I'll be sure to let you know how it goes!
Hunters great aunt passed away on Wed. (Trappers side). So there will be another funeral to go to. In Hunters short life, she has already lost 2 great grandfathers and 1grt. grandmother. There were so many to pass before her time here as well that I wish she could have met. Someday.

I was tagged. .

I don't have 6 people to tag back, however if you feel interested in doing this, please do. List 6 quirky things abt. yourself.

hmmm
1. I have an obbsession with buying new bed sheets, a few times a year. Even when all the others are perfectly fine.
2. I am a smoker, but you will NEVER see me sitting in the "smoking" breakroom at work. I will always go outside, even on the coldest days in the winter. If it is too cold, I will not smoke.
3. If I ever go to bed without washing my face, I must must must wash the pillowcase before going to bed again. It just seems so dirty to me. Sometimes I will flip it over, but will be washed soon.
4. I don't like cooking. Poor Hunter. Thank goodness my mother does. I will cook, obviously to survive, but I would rather just throw a sandwhich together.
5. I am almost always on time. I hate being late, or when others are late. I am usually a bit early.
6. I used to hate going to garage sales with my mom when I was younger, and for many many years never went to any. Until. . . I got pregnant. Now I LOVE them, and look at the online paper every week to see if there are any good ones with little girl clothes.

Not sure if those are what you would consider "quirky", but thats what you get.
Okay, there you go. My house is a mess, Hunter will not fall asleep for her nap. Ahhhhh! Linds is home, she brought Nate with her. He has the funniest laugh! What a riot! He cracks me up. Very nice guy. We had a good time last night. Too much to drink, had a headache this mornin. We are going to the cities to eat at Benehan.as tonight. Not sure how you spell it. Linds and Trav have been there before. So we will see. Apparently it is a Japanese Steakhouse, whatever that means. They put on a show as they are cooking everything right in front of you. Hunter will be going with her father and his family for his b-day supper tonight. Happy Anniversary Kris and Greg!!! Mothers Day is arriving soon. Linds and I have gone in together for the past couple years and bought some hanging plants for mom. And we will do the same this year. Other than that, I will be working. What are your plans for Mothers Day?

The best touch in the world. . .

So, Hunter and I went for a walk, yes it was actually hot and I was sweating! A visit to my grandmothers we went. She was so glad to see us. Since my grandfather passed away, 7 yrs. ago, she looks forward to any visitors, expected or unexpected. When H was smaller, she used to seem very uneasy when we went to visit, so I brought her there more. We make regular vists every other week or so, and since H has become much more comfortable, recognizing her, giving hugs and kisses and smiles galore. That makes me so happy. When we were sitting on the couch, H kept on coming up to me for no reason, and would touch my arm and give me a hug. Until you have your own child, you could only imagine what this feels like. Your own flesh and blood, showing you affection. A small thanks, for just "being" mommy (or daddy). I LOVE it. She is so sweet and innocent, with sooooo much to learn still. I am grateful for her in my life. To have the honor and opportunity to raise her. To have given life to her. I think way to many people in this world take for granted the ability to get pregnant and have children. It just kills me to see mothers with 4 or 5 kids, not really having wanted any of them, when there are so many people who have to go through a lot of money and time and doc. trips to make another life possible. When I had my miscairrage 8 yrs. ago, it was very scary. Not that I was ready, and I truly believe that everything happens for a reason. However, the thought went through my mind for years. . . .will I ever be able to have children? Some people grow up wondering if children are something that they even want to be a part of their lives someday, but I knew, this was going to be a part of my life. Like I said. I am so grateful to be blessed with Hunter. And I can only hope that someday, there will be more little ones in my life. I still have so much love to give.

We have 2 family reunions at the end of this month!!!! Wuuuu whoooo! They are so much fun. I love getting together with everyone. And these reunions are not the traditional one. We have themes, and a big camp out. Lots of games, pinatas for the kids (oh, and the adults)!!! This years theme for both familys(The Bilderback, and the Hayes) is Pirates. I will be sure to post some pics of the good times we have!!! TTFN.
Just so you all know, if you haven't done this already. The previous post was started yesterday, but not finished until today. So, it must post the date from the first day started, huh? Yep.

Yep. . . still here

So after 4 very busy days at work, and lack of sleep, I am still here. This new work schedule is working out well, just that I am so tired. Went to a few garage sales this past weekend. Went out with some friends on Fri. night cuz the bosses needed someone to work day shift. We had such a good time. Lots of dancing, laughing and talking. Today was another beautiful day. The sun was shining, and it was warm.
My sis comes home today, yeah! Lots more fun to come!!! We were talking abt. getting some family pics taken (by a friend) up on Memorial, but as of a few weeks ago, they were closed. And I am not sure abt. right now. So, I think we will have to swing on over there to check it out. Hunter has 3 pairs of the "fake" crocs, I think they look so cute on little kids. I believe that we will be going for a nice long walk today and to the park!!!!!!!! Hope everyone can enjoy this nice weather as well.
