First of all, where is the sunshine??? Seems like such a late summer so far. Anywho, brought Hunter to the doctor yesterday. Thinking she might have a UTI. For the past week on and off she has been touching "down there" and saying owie. Doctor Dan suggested cathing her to check her urine. She screamed bloody murder for the first couple minutes. Until it was in, then totally stopped crying. I hate seeing her like that, but also know how a UTI feels and do not wish that upon anyone! So, the test came back negative. Whew. . . he thinks that since she has been constipated on and off as well over the past few weeks (with some very hard bm's) that she might me getting the pain confused. We are trying a stool softener in her juice, and so far so good.
The past couple nights she has not been wanting to go to bed either. Crying. But then gets over it. I give her my hugs and tell her that I love her and that it is time to go to bed. Within 5 min. all is quiet. I'm not sure what is going on with her. She didn't see her dad much last week and all last weekend she was such a momma's girl. Singing my name over and over and never wanting to leave my side. I wonder if it is hard on her having 2 different houses to go back and forth from. I honestly don't remember how I felt when I was that young.. But it was all I ever knew growing up.
Tickets went on sale, online today for Tim McGraw. For those who don't know, he is going to be at the Casino for the grand opening of their new expansion. I bought six. I haven't seen him in concert for many years. He was actually part of the very first concert I EVER went to with Blackhawk and Little Texas! The new convention center only has abt. 3000 seats I believe so the tickets are very expensive. I imagine if we were as big as the Excel center we could get much cheaper ones. But I think I was told that the farthest seat is 125ft from the stage. Wuuuuu whooooo! I am pumped, good times to be had!
Speaking of good times. Jess and I went to see Sex and the City today! Oh my goodness, LOVED it!!!! I would actually go and see it again and totally plan on purchasing it when it comes to dvd. It totally rocked! I did get teary in one spot, but I won't spoil it for anyone.
We were going to Walmart today to get some groceries, and as we were turning up the road, Hunter said "doctors" and I said yup. Right as we were passing the hospital. She even got a little whiny when we didn't turn in. At least her experience didn't make her not like them. Doctor Dan is very nice, he was there when I delivered Hunter and was also my sisters doc as a child. Oh, and he even went in "search" of a Strawberry Shortcake sticker for my little lady since she was requesting. Cool.
The Hayes family reunion was a success over the weekend. I never counted but would say that at one point there must have been close to 40 people or maybe 50 total. Lots of costumes, lots of liqour and beer. Lots of euchre and singing and volleyball. Oh, we were playing volleyball later sat. night. Boys against girls. My cousin Aaron and I went for the ball at the same time, and well, my whole "fake" nail fell off! Um it hurt! And Aaron has a scratch under his eye. My nail fell into his mouth! It was nuts, thank goodness we were a bit tipsy by then so it didn't hurt as much as it could have! I haven't put the pics yet in my computer, but will post some after I do. The family pictures that we had down at the Riverfront Center turned out good as well!!! There were at least 30 of us in it, and only a couple missing.
Nothing going on this weekend. Probably going to visit grandma Hayes tommorrow. Maybe get some cleaning done. Just getting to the end of the movie Happy Feet. It's soo cute. Enough for tonight.
