So yes the day has arrived! Little Nora joined the world today at 1:08 am, weighing in at 6lb 10 oz. Here are a few pics. I am so happy for you guys!!!!!
Hunter and I gave a "gift" of binkies to little Nora. She is currently supposed to be napping, and she it not. I am suspecting that it has to do with the absense of "the binkie". We might have a couple tough days, but she will get through this. She is almost 2 and way too old to be walking around with a plug in her mouth! So, another congrats to the happy family, and if you guys need anything, please don't hesitate to ask!!
I think Hunter was a little jealous of the hair, Miss Nora will probably be sporting a pony months before we get too!

Cats, I am DONE!
So, I can't believe I am going to do this. But I am fed up. I can't stand all the hair on absolutely everything I own, the constant hair and food puke spots found on the carpet or floor in various places, and to top it all off, I am fed up with the pissing on my floor or furniture when one of them decides to be mad. They BOTH know how to use the damn litter box, but when something happens that they don't like, one of them pisses on something of mine. I don't know which one it is. I have always thought it was Cheetah, but the other week I saw Elvis sniffing around one of the places in the basement. So, who the hell knows. As sad as it makes me, I am sick of them both. Last night Hunter and I spent the night at my dads house. Well there wasn't enough food in the dish for them. So, I found a spot downstairs. The other week I had to throw out a super cute frog chair of Hunters because of pee. A year ago when I came home from She-Woman, (there are a couple dogs where we camp) I put the bag by the laundry that had blankets, sheets and pillows in it. Came home from the pool later that Sunday find piss on the whole duffle bag! So, yeah, if you want one of them, let me know. I have asked Trapper, and will ask his mom and grandma as well. I know Hunter loves them both and I would like to see them go to good homes. They would probably enjoy being able to go outside, but I just live on such a busy road that is not possible here. Ahhhhhhh, whatever. I just don't even know what else to say.

The "Date"
So, last night was the date. He showed up! I was giving him a 50/50 chance. Brought 2 outfits to work, one if he showed and one if he didn't. So, yeah, he was there, even early. And come to fine out, he is from Hammond, WI not Hampton. So he drove over an hour to come back! I was impressed. So, after I got off, we went to the bar called Sharks by the casino. They had karaoke there. We talked a lot, he sang (and is pretty good) I sang and we sang a duet together. He brought up a conversation with an ex girlfriend who was younger than I and things didn't work for whatever reason, but got to the point of not wanting any more kids. I told him I wanted 3. I would be willing to compromise for the right person, but felt I had to be honest. We laughed alot and for the most part had a really good time. So, I invited him over to sleep in my spare bedroom instead of having to drive home after having a few drinks. Well, this is where it gets good. He was 2 cars behind me on the hill and on 61. I swear I told him I had a Jeep and a car was between us, that turned off on 19. He followed. And we didn't exchange numbers. He eventually figured out that he was not following me cuz the car was like loosing him. So he turned around and got a hotel room. Remembered my last name and looked in the phone book to see if I was listed. Which I am. So, he called. How crazy. But anyways, we said that we would probably hang out again sometime. And I guess from there, I am not sure. The kids thing is huge, and he is 10 yrs. older which I believe is why he feels that way. But who knows. He seems nice enough to hang out with, but maybe not invest awhole lot into bacause of the diff. outlooks on the future. Blah blah blah.
So, on the Hunter note. Poor girl. Within the past week, her eyes have been getting "boogery" (is that a word?) Waking up in the mornings pretty much glued shut. So, we made an appt. Doctor Dan asked a series of questions, and we came to this. She has had a runny nose for a few weeks and a slight cough as well over time, so she probably had a sinus infection that moved up into her eyes. So, she is on antibiotics and some eyedrops. So, we are hoping that this clears things up.
So, that is it for now.
Oh, still feel the need to remind you all of how much a moron Trapper is.

The pool. . . again.
Yep, we went. Again. I love the summer sun, as if you couldn't already tell. Just me Little H tody. No pics. It was PACKED today. Crazy. More people today than what there were on sat. WOW. Doesn't anyone work in this town??!! Ha! Starting to wonder if I am too old for a two piece suit. Saw a couple gals younger that me there today that were in one pieces. And I am pretty sure that they are a couple sizes smaller. So, is there ever really an age that we need to quit the whole 2-piece thing and get a swimsuit as in one?? No sunscreen for me today, what a difference not putting on just an spf15 does make. Got pink. Nothing fun this weekend. Besides the "sort of" date. She-Woman is getting closer! WOW, I can't wait! Jess needs to have that baby by then! Kris you want to join us this year??

Summer time.
So yaaaay! The roof is complete! No more banging and crap floating all over my yard!! Unfortunatly I still have not had my satellite put back in place and have been without t.v. for 5 days now. Amazing how much quieter my house sounds sometimes without all the background noise. But we are managing just fine. I am getting lots of reading done during Hunters nap and at night. Which I'm sure is far better for the mind then some television. So, yeah, here I am. Sat. gets hooked up again Wed. morning. We had a fun filled weekend. Went to the pool with Ellie and Kris on Sat. Here are some pics.
I thought this was cool. Hunter and I walked out of the pool at the same time and saw our footprints together!
Sat. evening I went to my cousin Aaron's wedding. He got called back to Iraq for the 3rd time. So, the wedding was put together within 5 weeks, for many diff. reasons. He isn't scheduled to fly out until Dec. 8th, but Lacys sister (who is the Marines or Army) was home for a visit, and is also 6 months pg and wouldn't be able to fly later in the year, so the wedding was in process. It was beautiful. Out on 16, past Goodhue and Bellchester on the family farm that Lacy grew up on. Not everyone could be invited since the tent was small, but there will be a bigger reception planned later. Lacy was a beautiful bride, and they truly looked so in love. I have never seen someone look so good while crying! Shawn was in the wedding as well.
This was the groom at the end of the night!
The pics turned out dark, not sure why. But oh well. Dad drove the limo, so that was pretty cool! Went to Applebees after the wedding for drinks and appetizers.
Today was not very productive. Tired. Hunter is getting her second year molars in ans was a bear for the first half of the day. Went to Jess and Petes to watch the Bachelorette! Couldn't miss that! Go Jason go!
On another note. Went to work last night. And now I sort of have a date on Friday night. It all started by me shutting off a change light. All night long, over and over. He just kept turning it on so I would come over and we could talk. Or he could flirt and whatnot. So, we are gonne meet next friday night after I get off work at a bar down the street for a couple hrs. That way, I know people I know will be there, and I don't have to commit to a whole evening should it be weird. After all he was a guest in the casino, and I have never done this before. So we will see. This is what I know abt. him so far. Name: Chris Age: 40 Divorced, was married for 12 yrs. Has a daughter named Mia abt. 5ish or so. Likes golf. Lives in Hampton or Hammond (don't remember what he said). Umm thats abt. that. So stay tuned next week to see how it all turns out!

Can you guess what these pictures mean?
Oh yeah baby!!! My roof is getting done!! So, this would explain the 4 posts in a row. My satellite dish won't be working for 2 days, so I am blogging. I also have 2movies to watch and abt. 4 books to read. . . so I think we will be fine. Maybe its a good thing that Miss Hunter went to bed early tonight, the roofers said they will be back at 6:30 in the morning! I should try to get some sleep too!
Dad and Kim's Garden
So, many years ago, when we were "younger", my dads house was a "hang out" for me and my friends. But it has been many years since some of you have seen what has become of the place. It is beautiful! As most of you know, I do not have much of a yard at my house. Hunter and I frequent many parks and both of my parents house during the spring, summer and fall. My dad and Kim made a huge flower garden a few years back and it continues to grow and look more beautiful every year! Here are some pics!!
Backyard is complete with a play area for the grandkids . . . . .
A bridge by the pond. . .
There are 2 huge goldfish in this pond. When I had my family baby shower in June of 06, 2 of our friends brought Kim a couple very small goldfish for the pond. They have grown a lot in the past 2 years, brought in the house in the winter and fed by the grandchildren whenever they visit. They're names are Anna and Slog. The fish that is.
Play area is wouldn't be complete without a tractor, however not a John Deere.
A campfire site to make some s'mores on a chilly night. . .
A pump to fill up if you're running low! Who wouldn't want to pay only $12 for a tank of gas??
A tavern that is open most of the year. . .
Anywho, it's beautiful back there. We had Hunter's birthday party there last year, and I am thinking that we will do the same this year! It was an eventful day, no nap because we were at the pool, and when I pulled into the driveway. . . this is what I saw!!! Guess we will have to take a bath tommarrow! Oh, by the way, it was only 6pm. I think we better mark this one down! She usually isn't in bed until 9-10!

Pool time
Okay, so yaay, we got to go the local pool (aquatic center) today! Jess met us down there around noon. It was gorgeous! Not that too hot weather that makes you wonder what the heck you were thinking cuz you should have just stayed inside where its nice and cool, but the I have been waiting for summer to finally get here and it is practically perfect out. . . 80 and sunny! Now bear with me as I post a pic that makes me look abt. 5 months prego or so. I should have stood up straight and sucked in when I saw Jess with the camera!
This was the first time we used arm floaties and she did well with them! Cute new suit to boot! I think this will take some time to get down, but I predict by the end of summer she will be going in the water further and splashing a lot more!
We look forward to going to the pool more often this summer! And thanks Jess for coming with us! Still waiting for that baby!!!

BBQ with friends
Last night we went to Kris and Gregs for supper. I love going to bbqs in the summer, and we had planned on grilling at home anyways. So, what better than to do it with friends?! Miss Hunter and Miss Ellie had a blast as usual. Um. . . anyone up for getting wet in the pool?? They both got soaked, and Hunter was shivering by then end. I think we need to work on our getting others wet skills my little dear! Ellie was good!!!
Hunter had an appetite that night as well. Cleaned up her own plate, and then dipped right into Miss Ellies. . . until it was all but gone!! I believe she must be going through a growth spurt huh???
After some dry clothes and an emptying of the pool, the girls still had a fun time jumping in the pool, jumping out of the pool and lying down in the pool.
After awhile, the pool must have lost its newness, and some exploration off the deck was at hand. They ventured right over to the neighbors swingset for some action! Lots of sliding and a big thank you to uncle Pete for pushing them in the swings!!
We got home around 9:30 or so, and I thought for sure this little lady would have been tired from the days action. However, I was wrong. I think we were up around midnight, she came to bed with me for an hour and stayed wide awake the whole time!! WTF? Eventually the sandman set in, and we both got some sleep.

Our past week. . . summed up.
Last Monday was a beautiful day. Hunter and I went to three parks. I couldn't get enough of being outside, and I think Hunter enjoyed herself as well. Later in the evening, we broke out the bubbles! Lots of bubble were blown, and then half of the bottle got spilled. Oh well.
Last Tues. was ANOTHER beautiful day. Putzed around the house in the morning, ran some errands and tried to get Miss Hunter down for a nap at a decent hour. After almost 2 hours of playing. . . she finally fell asleep. But then, I decided to wake her only an hour and a half so we could go for a walk. Through downtown R.W. and to the Levee Park.
Wednesday we bummed. Watched movies, and basically just hung out together. Here is a pic, of Hunter watching Snow White or one of her others in my room.
Thurs. we cleaned house for the shower on Sat. Went to work. Friday I mowed lawn and got some last minute errands done. Went to work, got forced out at 8pm. What a treat that it finally happened on a weekend so I could go have some fun. Hunter was at grandmas for the night. It was Volksfest weekend in Goodhue and the "Dweebs" were playing! Yay! I hadn't heard them play in sooooo long, and I LOVE to go hear live bands play. What a fabulous time we had. I ran into so many people that I knew, and chatted and danced all night. Dad had the limo out so a few of us were taken home in style. Yeah baby. This is the only pic from my camera that night (better ones were taken on Bieners). I am not sure what we were doing, but it seems we wanted a good "butt" shot! Too funny.
Sat. was shower day! Kris arrived early and we started to get everything ready. Jess looked so good and I know we are all anxiously awaiting the arrival of Baby Hanson. The girls helped open gifts, the food was good and it was nice to get together. Another beautiful day.
I went to work after the shower, and then after proceeded to attend my cousins bachelor/bachelorette party. I was tired, but it was nice to hang with the bro for awhile too. Sunday came and went. Had a good tip night at work and was excited for my weekend to begin since I had seen the forcast and was in for some sunny days ahead with no rain. So they say.
So, now this brings me to today. Monday. Got up early and met my cousin Timmy and his 2 boys down at Baypoint park at 10am so the kids could play. A bit windy down by the river, but thats okay. After the park, did some shopping. Now is nap time and momma "catch up on things that have been not accomplished lately" time. In the mail today came the family photos that were taken at the end of May. They turned out pretty good.
So, now here I am. I am hoping to make it to the pool within the next couple days! Hunter has a couple new suits and we are gonna try arm floaties this year! They really do grow so fast! And I know I have said that so many times, but it truly amazes me. My love for this little girl seems to grow more and more everday, as crazy as that may sound, it is true. Its almost scary to love so much, think I'm gonna burst?? Ta ta for now.

June??
Is it really June?? This is what my darling dear was wearing this morning.
I have this picture in my kitchen. It'll cost you nothing to dream, and everything.
I owned my house for abt. a year and a half before I found something that I wanted to put on this wall. I saw this, and loved it. I often find myself looking at it everyday, silently reading it, and wondering what it means to me. I am not sure yet. Is it true? I suppose it could be. The thought of actually dreaming may cost you nothing as far as money, but emotionally it could be a struggle. Or if we actually attempt to make our dreams come true. Or simply leave our lives in the hands of a power far greater than we could ever begin to know???? Something to think abt.
