In the past couple weeks, my baby's room has been in the process of turning into a toddlers room. The crib was gone last week, and today the changing table was brought out (still sitting in the living room on its way downstairs) and a dresser was brought in. I still have a few different things to put on the walls, but I will post a pic. when I am done. Its gonna be cute!! She is growing and changing so much by the week. I swear her vocabulary is definitely a lot farther than normal, I can actually have conversations with her. What happened to my baby??? I would love to have another right now, lacking sperm donor: with good job, decent looking, nice teeth and the ability to love with a big heart. How abt. we throw in honest and respectful too. Miss, I love the photography you do, the pictures are great and seem to capture so many wonderful moments. I am hoping that someday, you will be able to do my wedding!!
So, I was getting a bowl of cereal not to long ago, and at the bottom of the box comes this package wrapped up. High School Musi.cal locker poster! Oooh Ahhh! I threw it. But do you remember when we were little and there was always toys in the cereal boxes??!! My brother and I would DIG for them at my dads house! I am thinking of getting rid of my entertainment center in the basement. If anyone knows of someone who would like to buy it, let me know. I will post a pic of that tom. if I remember. Elvis (my cat) is snoozing next to me, I wonder what its like to be a cat? Do they really understand us? What do they really do when we are NOT at home?
Back to work tom. bummer. Miss Ellie is coming for a few hours in the morn. The girls should have fun, they always do. Lets see, I'm sure we will read, color, pretent to cook, watch Strawberry, pull the cats tail, eat some snacks, make a mess, pull the other cats tail, go down the slide, maybe blow some bubbles, make a fort in the porch, laugh a lot, sit on the cats, and play catch. Ummm. . .yep. Ta Ta.

I am truly lucky. . .
A few weeks ago, my mother and I had a garage sale. Wuuuu whooooo, I love this time of year, when everybody puts up their signs, and gets rid of their crap. It took me abt. a month of going through my house, pricing and putting things in totes to bring it all over to moms. I had over 9 totes of clothes, shoes and houseware stuff, plus big things that didn't fit in totes. I vowed to not come home with anything but empty tubs. So, for the first time ever, mission accomplished. All of our left over clothes were donated to a childrens home in our town, and the rest of the things went to the salvation army. I now find myself STILL overwhelmed and suffocated by all of the "things" in my house. How much can one person need? (and a little one of course) (and i say this after a post abt. shopping a few days ago) But still, I have sooooo much. I started to fill my first tub since the garage sale of more clothes to get rid of. Can you believe that 3/4 of that tub are clothes with the tags still on???? My spending habits have changed a bit over the last couple years now, its mostly abt. baby items and things for the house. But I still love to shop. I feel guilty sometimes for how much I really do have because there are so many people out there, with so little. I truly am lucky to be able to live the life I do and provide for my daughter. I am not trying to brag. . . . I just very much realize what I have, and that there is so much that I can live without. Sometimes life seems to be, I don't know. . . . stuffy maybe is a good word to describe being surrounded so much. I will continue to weed through the "things" that I have in my life through out the summer. . . meanwhile, its not so much abt. WHAT is in my life, but WHO. . . .and that is a lot of great people as well.
Anyone got any suggestions for getting rid of diaper rash? I have tried almost everything. And for Hunter being 20 months, we have never had to deal with this longer than a day in the past. This has been going on now for over 2 wks, it will not go away! Arggggg.

Tanya Tuesday
Last night I was laying in bed, and I heard this high pitched whine/scream. I waited a couple seconds to see if it would come again out of my daughters bedroom. . . and it sure did. So I got up, went in to see what could possibly be the matter (she had been sleeping for a couple hrs by now) and this simply amazing little girl looks up at me and says,
Where is it?
Where is the binkie?
This was said in the most sweet, high pitched, no tear in her eye voice.
She cracks me up! I walked back to bed laughing.
The Pes.top bug guy just left my house. Insect control, if summer would ever arrive. The first year I bought my house, I had a terrible flying ant problem in my basement. So now I just do this bug thing every spring to help the problem. It has worked so far.
Today we are meeting Jess for lunch at our favorite spot for lunch. Maybe swing by my grandmothers house so Hunter can visit, and I'm not sure if Hunter will be spending the evening with her father tonight. If she does, then I might be visiting the tavern tonight. Tuesdays are usually my night out. In the fall I play on a dart league, and in the spring, I am a sub for a beanbag league. She is currently playing with a very loud, play cell phone. While watching a Strawberry Short.cake movie. What a little multi-tasker I have!
Back to the binkie situation. When Jess has this little baby of hers, I am hoping that Hunter will be willing to give the binkies to her as a present. I discussed this with Hunter this morning, and she said okay. But that was today. When the day comes I have a feeling that the arms will be flailing around just like they do when "the binkie" gets misplaced in the house. Either way, by the end of August (her 2nd b-day) that binkie is going buh bye. Or boo-bye, as Hunter would say. It will probably be a week of hell, but we will get through it.
Linds (my sis) will be coming home in a week! She is currently living in Montoon, IL. finishing up her nursing degree. I am looking forward to her return. I believe that her and her boyfriend are visiting for a week. Hunter calls her NeeNee, since she can't quite spit out Lindsey. It's cute. Linds was home as a surpise for my 30th b-day in March. It was a fabulous time, I was totally surprised, and the party was so much fun!!!! Here are some pics. . . .
Me, my bother Shawn, and my sis Linds
Did I tell you that I think I am a Karoake queen?
My family cracks me up!
Jess and I
Oh my, look at the time. . . .gotta motor! Later.

Can't Sleep
So, okay, I'm gettin the hang of this. And I can't sleep, so why not blog, right? Is that what we do? I went to nights a few weeks ago, so getting to bed these days any sooner than 1am. seems short of impossible. So, as you will see, I LOVE taking pics and will probably post many on here.
So, as these last few days have been rainy, gloomy, and dark. . . I am taken back to this past Feb. I went to the Cayman Islands with some family and friends. The weather was beautiful, the food and drink was good, and the company was great. I find myself wishing to be watching those sunsets again with a coctail in hand.
This is a few of us dancing in the sunset. . . .
These were the b-day party hats that Kim brought for Mitch's party!
One night at the bar. . .live bands. . dancing. . . drinkin
This was the main crew at my dad's time share. My friend Mo, me, my dad and his fiance Kim, and my aunt and uncle.
There were 17 of us total that went at diff. times, a couple are missing from this picture, but needless to say, we all had a blast!
Wow, what a good time. Anyone feel like dippin your toes in the sand?
Last week, Jess and Kris and Ellie came over for a bbq. We really need to do this more often and I'm hoping with summer on its way, that these get togethers will happen more often. Hunter and Ellie have a blast together, and its so enjoyable watching them play and laugh. I got some good pics of the two. . . .

They definitely resemble their mothers in looks and actions. Too funny! For only being 3 1/2 months apart, I hope that they will be pal ling around together for a very long time. And I know these two will be getting Jess' little lady in some trouble in the yrs. to come!
We took out the crib a week ago, and the transfer to a twin bed has been fairly easy. I did fear far worse, however, I think she likes it. Only once after I jumped in the shower after she went down for a nap, did I hear pitter pattering out and abt. the living room floor.
Okay, my eyes are really going computer buggy. Later.
The shopping bug. .
So, its still fricken cold, my baby has a diaper rash that won't go away, and we spent a good part of the day shopping. I cought the shopping bug on Friday, so today was the first that I could really. . um. . indulge if you will. I wanted to stop at Ike.a as well, however, driving home in rush hour isn't as tolerable as it once was, so we hit the road to beat it. Hunter got some sandals and a super cute dress, and I, bought a couple pairs of shoes, three pairs of jeans, and a shirt. Oh, we also went to Build a Be.ar, and Hunter made a orange cat. We called her Meow Meow. Time for Monday night t.v., dishes, laundry and a bit more cleaning. How exciting.

Ummm. . first time
So . . . here we go. Lets see if I can get on this blog roll along with so many others. However, its late, and I'm tired, and I'm still pokin' around this thing trying to get pictures uploaded and whatnot, but its not working. Yet. So, I will get the hang of this, and it will get interesting. Just be patient with me. . . TTFN
